Disney’s live-action remake Lilo & Stitch has continued its impressive run, topping the North American box office for a second consecutive weekend. The film earned an additional $63 million domestically, bringing its total to $280.1 million in the U.S. alone. With this performance, it surpassed Ryan Coogler’s Sinners to become the second-highest grossing film of 2025. Globally, Lilo & Stitch has now made a robust $610.8 million.
Holding steady in second place was Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which brought in $27.3 million domestically. The latest installment of the Tom Cruise-led franchise now sits at a domestic total of $122.6 million and $353.8 million worldwide.
Sony’s family-friendly reboot Karate Kid: Legends debuted in third place, earning $21 million in North America. The film, starring Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio, and newcomer Ben Wang, performed solidly with audiences, earning a strong CinemaScore of A-. Its worldwide total now stands at $47 million.
Rounding out the weekend’s top five were Final Destination: Bloodlines, with $10.8 million, and A24’s horror film Bring Her Back, which opened to $7.1 million.
