Dune: Part Three has officially been confirmed as the title for the third entry in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune saga, continuing the naming pattern set by its predecessors. The film is scheduled to be released on December 18, 2026.

Picking up roughly 12 years after the conclusion of Dune: Part Two, the story follows Paul Atreides, now Emperor, as he grapples with the far-reaching consequences of his rule. Returning stars include Timothée Chalamet as Paul, Zendaya as Chani, and Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan. Jason Momoa also reprises his role as Duncan Idaho. Villeneuve has stated that this will be his final film in the series, bringing Paul’s epic narrative to a close.

As production gets underway, Villeneuve has shared a new first look via social media. With Villeneuve’s signature visual artistry and a powerful ensemble cast, Dune: Part Three promises a dramatic and immersive finale to this cinematic journey.
